PowerTranz offers two integration types, each with different features and checkout experiences. Choose the one that best fits your business requirements.
SPI (Server Payment Integration)
SPI is the most versatile integration option, offering multiple ways to process payments.
Direct Integration
Customers enter their card details directly on your checkout page. The payment is processed securely through PowerTranz’s API.
Hosted Payment Page (HPP)
Customers are redirected to a secure payment page hosted by PowerTranz to enter their card details. After payment, they are returned to your site.
To enable HPP with SPI:
- Select SPI as your integration type
- Enable the Use Hosted Payment Page option
- Enter your HPP Page Set and HPP Page Name (provided by PowerTranz)

FPI (Full Payment Integration)

Which Should I Choose?
Choose SPI if:
- You want the flexibility of direct integration or hosted payment page
- You need Kount fraud detection
- You want to reduce PCI compliance scope with HPP
Choose FPI if:
- You want a straightforward direct integration
- You prefer a simpler configuration with fewer options
- You don’t need Kount or HPP features
Changing Integration Types
You can switch between SPI and FPI at any time in the gateway settings. Saved cards (tokens) will continue to work regardless of which integration type you use.
